Meet the Staff
Want to put a face to the voice at the other end of the phone line? Here is our staff.

Cynthia

Cynthia is our manager. She has been here at The Book Haven for 11 years. She was the Librarian at the Pennsylvania School of Art and Design for a number of years before coming to us. She enjoys reading and is a member of our local bookclub. She enjoys spending time with her family. She is our primary cataloger and is happy to assist customers both in the store and with phone and email orders. You can email Cynthia at kkbooks@comcast.net

Zac

Zac is our Shipping Department Manager. He is responsible for shipping all orders on a daily basis. Zac is currently working part-time and going to school full-time working towards a degree in Surgical Technology. He has a particular interest in books on the Vietnam War. In his spare time (Which isn't in abundance since school started), he enjoys snowboarding, fishing and camping. The care that Zac takes in wrapping the orders is, in large part, the reason we have 100% positive feedback on ebay! Thanks, Zac.

Kay

"I have worked at The Book Haven since August 2008 and love having my desk surrounded by bookshelves rather than cubicle walls. The history of old books makes my job interesting. I never know what I will find inside a book - signatures of previous owners, newspaper clippings, photographs - that tell the story of the book. Outside of work I am usually outside - biking, running, gardening and reading."
Kay has been working at the Book Haven since August 2008. She loves learning the story of a book by studying the inscriptions and ownerships that can be found inside. Kay is very familiar with the stock and can provide excellent customer service. She is an avid reader and belongs to our local bookclub. When she isn't working, kay enjoys biking, gardening, and generally spending time outdoors.
